Bingo is a game similar to the Lottery. In this game, each player must purchase one or more bingo cards that are divided into numbered squares. A "Cantor" random numbers out of a bolillero are generally from 75 to 90-ball numbered. Then the Cantor announces the number that was pulled from bolillero and players must mark if they have it on their cards. The object is to mark all the numbers on the card or complete a line. The first player to reach that shouts "Bingo" and win the prize.
There are some variants of Bingo. A popular version leaves the square in the center of the bingo card, not numbered and the first player to complete 5 numbers in a line (vertical or horizontal) is the winner. Prizes can range from a few euros by car or millionaire jackpots. It's a gamble, and who knows ... Maybe you are the next winner.
Bingo is legal in most U.S. states, even those where gambling is illegal. It is legal in Ireland when it is charity, and is closely regulated in Britain. In Spain it is legal, but can not be publicized.
